Love's Labor Won
How strange that we call the sexual act "making love" when in actuality, if that action is without commitment, it is a literal and figurative denuding of love in which the individual is degraded to an object. Love is not love when it has been manufactured for the moment. Love is the posture of the soul and its entailments are binding. When love is shallow, the heart is empty, but when the sacrifice of love is understood, one can drink deeply from its cup and be completely fulfilled. The more we consume love selfishly, the more wretched and impoverished we become.
Side note: The message of Christ stands supremely magnificent. At the heart of the Gospel is a Savior who loves us and offered himself for us. Even Mahatma Gandhi, a Hindu, stated that the cross of Jesus constantly showed itself as an un paralleled expression of God's grace.
Referring to an earlier post:
In conclusion, to my readings the four essential components to the meaning in life - Wonder, Truth, Love, and Security.
Sweetybear: We seriously sat on my driveway for way too long. (You know when you sat on a driveway for way too long when you start to smell like the driveway.) Thanks for being patient and talking to me. This conversation sure knocked some sense back into me. LoL You explain everything like a math equation. Thanks for everything.
Ian: First person to say the harsh reality straight to my face. Thanks so much. I can't seem to get what to said to me out of my head. It sure helped me get through some pretty bad situations though. Thanks once again.
Noam: A special friend that God provided for me, when I needed it most. If it wasn't for you listening to me bitch, I would have had such a horrible time dealing with shit. Thanks a million. And good luck with your game.
People from Joshua: I love you guys so much. Without you guys my chinese would be horrible, (not that its any better now =P) and just thanks for all your support in everything.
I just realize I still haven't update what happened during the non-blogging period. Urg... procrastination. I will soon enough.
